About Triangle BoardConnect
Triangle BoardConnect (TBC) is a free program of Executive Service Corps of the Triangle (ESC), thanks to funding by Blue Cross BlueShield of North Carolina. ESC is a nonprofit organization that has been providing affordable, professional consulting to other Triangle nonprofits for over 20 years.
Launched in November 2006, TBC is designed to support Triangle area Boards by matching area nonprofits with local individuals seeking volunteer nonprofit Board or committee service.
Utilizing the website of boardnetUSA, Triangle BoardConnect makes it possible:
- For nonprofit organizations to search for potential board members with needed skills, experience and affiliations.
- For individuals to serve on a nonprofit board or committee. The process is anonymous for individuals, until they decide to share their contact information with the nonprofit organization.
Nonprofits and individuals register without charge or obligation. They complete profiles which allow searches by skill sets, type of organization, areas of interest and Board positions open. This matching service is supported by an extensive list of local Community Partners. TBC serves nonprofits and prospective board members in Chatham, Durham, Orange and Wake counties in North Carolina.
